The pre-engineered structural steel components for the above referenced project
has been designed and fabricated by an A.I.S.C. member manufacturer, in
accordance with the order documents and in general accordance with the latest
procedures and design criteria of the following specifications;
1. AISC: Specification for the Design of Structural Steel for
Buildings, 1989 Edition.
2. AISI: Specification for the Design of Cold -Formed Steel
Structural Members, 1986 Edition.
3. MBMA: Low Rise Building Systems Manual 1989 Edition, with
1990 Supplements.
The structural analysis has been based on the following criteria:
1.
Building Code:
UBC 1991
2.
Roof Live Load:
30.0 psf (Non-reducable)
3.
Roof Snow Load:
30.0 psf (Minimum)
4.
Roof Dead Load:
2.0 psf plus frame weight
5.
Wind Load:
100 mph, Exposure "C"
6.
Seismic Load:
Zone 1
Our responsibility is limited to the structural performance of the pre-engineered
components as designed and supplied by Inland Southern Corp. d/b/a Inland
Buildings using the specification and load criteria described above. Inland
Buildings cannot and will not guarantee the performance of any components
subjected to field modifications not endorsed by Inland Buildings Engineering
Services, or the performance of any gompen6pt subject to loads other than those
