March 19, 1996 Commission No.: 2250-10-38-02 U.S. Home Corporation 2114 North Lincoln Avenue #203 Loveland, Colorado 80538 Gentlemen: tl 9("(2 We have observed the drilling of several of the ten (1.0) inch diameter, straight shaft piers supporting the residence under construction at Lot 18, Coventry Subdivision (748 Stoddard Drive), a subdivision of Fort Collins, Colorado. This inspection was performed on March 19, 1996. Exposed soils measured from original grade consist of six (6) feet of sandy clay over a clayey siltstone bedrock which extends to the depths drilled, approximately fifteen (15) feet. All piers observed were plumb, properly cleaned, and of adequate length as specified on the foundation plan by KLP Engineering, No. 4028. No water was encountered during drilling. We recommend concrete be placed immediately after drilling of the caissons. Casing was not required. If you have any questions, please Respe tfully, Kevin W.
