Gentlemen: -
On November 9, 1998, we visually observed the excavation at Lot 68, Greenstone 2nd,'(7112 Silver
Moon ), Larimer County, Colorado. The purpose of this observation was to verify that the soil
conditions encountered in the excavation are generally consistent with those outlined in the soils
report performed by Terracon, Job No. 20935031, dated February 23, 1993. This letter is not
intended to be a summary of the soils report and does not_ meet_ the, disclosures requirements of
Colorado Senate Bill Li, 6-6.5-101.
The subsurface conditions exposed in the excavation appeared to be generally consistent with those
described in the above referenced soils report, which recommends a balanced spread footing and/or
grade beam type foundation system for these subsurface conditions. No water was encountered to
a depth of approximately six (6) feet.
We recommend that damp -proofing be installed at the foundation walls for all below grade, habitable
living areas per 1991 UBC Section 2915.
Due to the measured depth of bedrock below footing elevation, it is our opinion that an exterior
perimeter drain is required for this structure.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call.
ectfully.

Gentlemen:
We have visually observed the wall reinforcing placed in the forms at the residence under construction
at Lot 68, Greenstone, (7112 Silver Moon Lane), a subdivision of Fort Collins, Colorado. This
observation was performed on December 17, 1998.
It is our opinion that the reinforcement was in general conformance with our foundation plan, Job No.
1126-18-03-01.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call.

RE: Lot 68, Greenstone 2"d Filing (7112 Silver Moon), Latimer County, Colorado
Gentlemen:
We have been informed that there is no girder truss bearing over the garage door opening where our
plan showed a W12x22 steel header. In this case, a double 14" Microllam header would be sufficient
to carry the 24'-0" long roof trusses in lieu of the steel header.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call.
Respectfully,
Jason E. Baker.
