1. "Gross Area of Exterior Walls", includes all above grade walls and the entirewall of each "garden" story wall -with
average below -grade area < 50%; plus all exterior doors, windows, and all similar openings in any basement wall.
2. Use a weighted average UA where there are multiple component types within a category.
3. Specify manufacturer; model, frame material, sash opening size, NFRC U-value (including basement windows). Attach
windowschedule if necessary, or use default tables for windows and doors. Use (0.92) x rough opening = sash area
5 4. Only the amount ever the 2% of roof area. Skylights must be the same frame material as the predominant window type
