RE: Alleged zoning violation - 700 South Taft Hill
On June 1,1984 I called a Mrs. Tanana, the person who complained to
Councilman Ohlsen about two families living in one residence at 700 South
Taft Hill Road. She informed me that she assumed there were two families
living there but she had no real proof. Her main concern was the problem
with the laundry being hung out to dry in the front yard and the barking
dogs. I advised her that neither of those problems were zoning violations,
but the dog problem had been referred to the police department. I also
explained that we could only respond to the zoning violation if she were
to fill out one of our complaint forms. Two weeks have passed and I have
not had any further contact with Mrs. Tanana, so I assume that she does
not plan on pursuing the alleged zoning problem.
