Mr. Weiman:
A representative of Terracon observed the exterior perimeter drain construction at the
referenced site on July 23, 2001, as requested. A four -inch diameter perforated PVC pipe
had been placed around the exterior perimeter of the basement foundation. The drainage
pipe appeared to exhibit positive drainage toward the sump located within the basement
area. We also observed 1'/2 - % inch washed gravel placed above the pipe.
In our opinion the exterior perimeter drain was constructed in general accordance with the
plans and specifications for this project.
