Building Address: 613 S. Sherwood
Building Description: one —family dwelling
Owner: Vern & Lois Schilline
Pursuant to Chapter 64 of the City Code, known as the Non -Owner -Occupied Housing
Health, & Safety Code, and in accordance with Section 64-1B of said Code, you are
hereby notified that the dwelling unit located at the above address has been found to
be substandard because of the following conditions:
Section 64-14 (B)- Roof leaks into front & middle bedrooms and at wall between living
room and dining room, allowing water to enter in to habitable rooms.
Section 64-17 (A)(9) -...Water from roof also leaks through the ceiling light in the
middle bedroom, causing a hazard.
NOTICE TO DEMOLISH OR REPAIR
The owner, as stated above, is hereby ordered and notified that:
the above violations must be corrected
within 7_ days from receipt of this notice. Failure to comply or request an
extension in the time limits specified may require that the dwelling be vacated and
posted to prevent further occupancy until the work is completed and result in possible
criminal prosecution.
RIGHT TO APPEAL
This order may be appealed to the Building Board of Appeals in writing through the City
Building Inspection Office at 300 LaPorte Avenue, 221-6760. Any appeal must be made
within 30 days of receipt of this notice, otherwise all rights to a hearing will be
waived. j
