HomeMy WebLinkAbout527 E Prospect Rd - Miscellaneous - 10/02/1990Development Services Building Permits & Inspections Division City of Fort Collins NOTICE OF SUBSTANDARD BUILDING AND ORDER FOR COMPLIANCE Building_ Address: Building Description: Owner: 52-7 E.- Prospect Single Family Dwelling Gail Unger Pursuant to Chapter 5, Article VI of the City Code, known as the Non - Owner -Occupied Housing, Health 5 Safety Code, and in accordance with Section 5-305 of said Code, you are hereby notified that the dwelling unit located at the above address has been found to be substandard because of the following conditions: Section 5-278 - Skylight in kitchen leaks when it rains. Section 5-279(b) - Room heater vent is less than 6" to combustable material. Section 5-280(a) - Bare conductors into water heater. Section 5-280(a) - Bare wires to electric light in bathroom. Also, no electrical outlet in bathroom. Section 5-281(b) - No operable egress window in front bedroom. Section 5-276(g) - Light required outside back door. NOTICE TO DEMOLISH OR REPAIR The owner, as stated above, is hereby ordered and notified that: the above violations, which were discovered during a tenant requested inspection, must be corrected within 20 days from receipt of this notice. Failure to comply or request an extension in the time limits specified may require that the dwelling be vacated and posted to prevent further occupancy until the work is completed and result in possible criminal prosecution. RIGHT TO APPEAL This order may be appealed to the Building Board of Appeals in writing through the City Building Inspection Office at 300 LaPorte Avenue, 221-6760.
