The follow are my comments: 1. Bracing needs to be added to exposed roof trusses in horizontal plane. This bracing should be placed approximately 10'-0 above finish floor level and may be 4" X 4" or large rough sawn members to match existing exposed trusses. Attachment is shown on enclosed sketch #1. 2. Truss bottom chord members should be attached to wall framing studs. 2 ''/z" diameter lag bolts are required at each end at all interior trusses. Refer to sketch #2 enclosed. 3. Add 2" x 6" diagonal bracing to west exterior wall. Refer to sketch #3 enclosed. 4. One bolt is missing in first interior truss. One sided connection is acceptable where existing mortise occurs in web member. 5. Steel beam to steel column should be field welded. A 3/16" fillet weld minimum 2" long each end is required: 6. Simpson strap material with a minimum length of 4'-0 should be added to exterior of building where top wall plates have been interrupted. 7. Add solid blocking in framed walls to foundation sill plates below all concentrated loads. 8. Dry pack steel beam to wall beam pocket and add connection angle per Sketch 44 enclosed. 9. Recycled wood members used in exposed trusses are adequate for loading expected. A. R.
