Gentlemen:
We have observed the drilling of several of the ten (10) inch
diameter, straight shaft piers supporting the residence under
construction at Lot 12, Westbrooke Subdivision (4324 Mill Creek
Court), a subdivision of Fort Collins, Colorado. This inspection
was performed -on September 23, 1992.
Exposed soils consist of four (4) feet of sandy clay over a sandy
claystone bedrock which extends to the depths drilled,
approximately ten (10) feet.
All piers observed were plumb, properly cleaned and of adequate
length as specified on ourfoundation plan, Job No..1455-03-01-03.
No water was encountered during drilling. Casing was not required.
