On April 2, 198le Empire Laboratories, Inc. observed pier drilling at
the above -referenced site. All piers were drilled to the bedrock
stratum and obtained the minimum penetration of three (3) feet into the
firm bedrock as recommended in our "Report of a Geotechnicai Investi-
gation" prepared for the site by Empire Laboratories, Inc. on March 5,
1981. It was also determined at this time that all piers were properly
cleaned and dewatered in accordance with the recommendations described
in our geotechnical report.
