ELI Project No. 1906-75
Enclosed are the results of the caisson inspections at the above referenced
project. A member of our firm made continuous inspection during the
drilling operations. The objectives of the inspections were to determine
(1) the firm bedrock stratum; (2) the penetration into the firm bedrock;
(3) make sure the holes were clean and dry prior to the placement of con-
crete; and (4) note any variations in the soil conditions encountered at
the site.
It is felt that the caissons were drilled in accordance; with the plans and
specifications for the project.
