It is our understanding that the 60' long 24" deep stone double tee
roof units supplied and.erected by us have had an opening 40" X 60"
cut into the deck and a mechanical load of 1400 lbs. placed thereon.
We further understand the centerline of these modifications are
within the end 20' of any roof tee, and no more than one such block -
out and unit was placed on any given tee.
This additional load and blockout were superimposed on the original
calculations and our finding is that the tees violate no code pro-
vision or accepted standard,practice and will carry all expected
loads and perform satisfactorily. Calculations supporting this
conclusion are attached.'
