Gentlemen:
We have inspected the open excavation at Lot 6, Block 10,
Wagon Wheel 2nd Filing, a subdivision of Ft. Collins, Colo-
rado.
The subject excavation was inspected on February 28, 1986.
The exposed soils indicate a balanced spread fooding.type
foundation system designed in accordance with the recommen-
dations contained in the soils and foundation investigation
report performed by F.M. Fox & Associates, Job No. 1-1102-
3989 dated, February 20, 1979, is suitable. No water was
encountered to a depth of 3.0 feet. No perimeter drain is
required.
Based upon those results and our evaluation of the proposed
Rancher Model, we recommend the footings shown on the sketch
below.
