Gentlemen:
We have inspected the open excavation at Lot 12, Block '10;
Wagon Wheel 2nd Filing, -,a subdivision of Ft. Collins, Colora-
do•
The subject excavation was inspected on February 4, 1986._.`'
The exposed soils indicate a balanced spread footing•type
foundation system designed in accordance with the recommen-
dations contained in the soils and foundation investigation
report performed by F. M. Fox & Associates, Inc., Job 'No
1-1102-3989, dated February 20, 1979, is suitable. :No`.''.
water was encountered to a depth of 7.0 feet. A perimeter
drain should be installed.
Based upon those results and our evaluation of the proposed
2 story model, we recommend the footing sizes shown on the
sketch below.
