Gentlemen:
We have inspected the open excavation at Lot 13, Block 1,
Wagon Wheel 1st Filing (3212 Lymen), a subdivision of Ft.
Collins, Colorado.
The subject excavation was inspected on January 13, 1987. The
exposed soils indicate a balanced spread footing type foun-
dation system designed in accordance with the recommenda-
tions contained in the soils and foundation investigation
report performed by F.M. Fox 5 Associates, Project No.
1-1102-3989 dated February 20, 1979 is suitable. No water
was encountered to a depth of 7.0 feet. No perimeter drain
is required. All pads and footings to be 8" deep unless
otherwise noted.
Based upon those results and our evaluation of the proposed
Pinion Model, we recommend the footings shown on the
sketch below.
Very truly yours,
CI
