I greatly appreciated the help and suggestions offered by you and your colleagues. Keith Titus, my architect, tells me that several of those suggestions, especially concerning bathroom location and doorway reconstructions, could save me considerable amounts of money. My wife and I have a strong affinity for old buildings and we are excited by the prospect of remodelling the second story of this building for our own home, so I was pleased and gratified by everyone's reaction to that space in particular. We feel, as -you all seemed to, that the apartment can become a very special living place. I am enclosing a list of those items which were discussed during the walk-through. I'm sure I have not listed all of them, so if you have any additions or corrections to make, please include them.
