On April 21, 2022, the Supreme Court of the United States decided City of Austin v. Reagan Nat’l Adver. of Austin, LLC, ___ U.S. ____, 2022 U.S. LEXIS 2098 (Apr. 21, 2022). In City of Austin, the Supreme Court held Austin’s regulation of off-premises billboards was not subject to strict scrutiny under the First Amendment of the United States Constitution. Id. at *6. 2. City of Austin refutes Defendant-Appellee StreetMediaGroup, LLC’s arguments concerning Larimer County’s sign code regulations violating the First 3 Amendment as content-based regulation.
