We, the undersigned, owning all of the property fronting
on College Avenue in Blocks 23, 0 and 4 of the City of Fort Collins,
q"molorado, would respectfully represent as follows, to -wit;
99 That said avenue in front of said blocks is platted
of a width of 180 feet, being 40 feet wider than the general
width of said avenue.
That said width is greater than is needed for any
practical purpose and entails upon said City a large unnecessary
expense for maintenance which expense must greatly increase
as said City increases in growth.
Wherefore, we would respectfully pray that the width
of said avenue in front of said blocks be re-established, and
that it be reduced to a width of 140 feet as far north as the
north side of the railway right of way crossing said avenue
between said blocks, said eastern boundary of said avenue to be
140 feet from the present western boundary of said avenue, and that
it be reduced north of said railway right of way by an eastern
boundary line drawn from a point on the northern line of said
railway right of way 140 feet east from the present western
boundary of said avenue and extending in a direction east o'
north to the north-west corner of said Block 4, and that the
strip of land East of said avenue as straightened lyinU along
said Blocks 0 and 4, be vacated.
