Box 850 Fort Collins, CO 80522 Re: Anheuser-Busch, LLC, Planning and Zoning, City of Fort Collins The purpose of this letter is to provide traffic impact comments to the above -referenced application for Minor Amendment submitted by Farnsworth Group Incorporated (FGI) for Anheuser-Busch, LLC (Anheuser-Busch). The Minor Amendment application seeks amendment to Anheuser-Busch's approved site plan to permit construction of additional bulk glass receiving space and related improvements. The purpose of the Minor Amendment is to permit construction of one new bulk glass receiving space for bulk bottle receiving into the facility. Receiving bulk glass into the additional building will reduce total daily trucks into the facility based on a more efficient loading pattern of bulk glass versus glass shipped in cardboard cartons. The estimated reduction is one truck per shift (3 per 24 hour period). Thank you for your review of this submittal. Utility plans - sheets V-100, C-001, ER-100er-101, er-102, c-101, c-102 • A cover sheet for the utility plans needs to be provided that includes: o Title 0 Vicinity map o Sheet index o Indemnification notes — please contact me if you need these again. 0 • A sheet with the City's General Notes needs to be provided - please contact me if you need these again. • All sheets in this set need to have City Signature block on it • All sheets (but the general note sheet and detail sheets) need to have a key map included so it can be determined where this proposed improvement is located on the site. • All sheets in this set will need to be provided as mylars for City signature and be 2436 in size. • Any details needed for construction of the improvements shown in these plans need to be provided. • If the two new fire hydrants are to be installed off of a City owned and maintained waterline utility easements for these areas will need to be dedicated prior to approval of the plans. If easements need to be dedicated please contact me on the process and format for this process. If these are off of a AB owned and maintained main then a utility easement does not need to be dedicated. Please label on the plans if this is a City main or an AB main. Comment 2: Site Plan C-100... needs to include a key map which will identify where this is located on site. Response: Key map added. See attached. PFA Review Topic: General Comment 1: Automatic Fire Sprinkler System. This building will require an automatic fire sprinkler system under a separate permit. Response: The fire protection design will be a delegated design submittal, however, fire protection basis of design drawings will be included in the building permit application. The successful general contractor will submit sealed fire protection drawings developed by their subcontractor prior to construction. Stormwater Engineering Topic: Erosion Control Comment 1: Site disturbs more than 10, 000 sf, therefore Erosion and Sediment Control Materials need to be submitted.... Response: See attached drawing and erosion control report. Technical Services Topic: Building Elevations Comment 1: All plan sheets must be 24'x36" when filed. Response: Ok. Topic: Construction Drawings Comment 2: All plan sheets must be 24"x36" when filed. Response: Ok. Comment 3-7: There are line over text issues ... text that needs to be rotated 180 degrees.
