OF THE DIRECTOR OF PLANNING, DEVELOPMENT, AND TRANSPORTATION
SERVICE UNIT OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
VACATING A PORTION OF AN EXISTING UTILITY EASEMENT ON LOT 1, REPLAT
OF DRAKE PARK
WHEREAS, Section 2.1.5 of the Land Use Code of the City of Fort Collins
authorizes the Director of Planning, Development, and Transportation Service Unit to
vacate certain easements by resolution or by approval of replats containing notation of
such dedication; and
WHEREAS, the Owner has requested that the City vacate a portion of an
existing utility easement, which vacation is needed to accommodate an approved
building expansion and which vacation is more particularly described on Exhibit "A".
WHEREAS, the vacation has been reviewed and approved by the pertinent City
Departments and utility providers, which departments and utility providers report no
objection to the vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Director of Planning, Development,
and Transportation Service Unit of the City of Fort Collins, that a portion of a utility
easement on Lot 1, Replat of Drake Park, as more particularly described on Exhibit "A",
attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference, is hereby vacated.
Passed and adopted by the Director of Planning, Development and Transportation
Service Unit of the City of Fort Collins this 2-!r day of February, 2014.

DESCRIPTION:
A portion of an Utility Easement to be vacated being a portion of Lot 1, Replat of Drake
Park, located in the Northeast Quarter of Section 26, Township 7 North, Range 69 West
of the Sixth Principal Meridian, City of Fort Collins, County of Larimer, State of
Colorado being more particularly described as follows;
Considering the South line of Lot 1, Replat of Drake Park as bearing North 89°26'43"
West, and with all bearing contained herein relative thereto:
BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of said Lot l; thence along the South line of said
Lot 1, North 89026'43" West, 63.97 feet to the South corner of said Lot 1; thence
departing said South line, North 89°26'41" West, 6.00 feet to a point on the West line
of a Utility Easement as shown on the Replat of Drake Park; thence along said
Easement the following two courses, (1) North 00°33' 19" East, 6.00 feet; (2) South
89°26'43" East, 63.97 feet; thence departing said Easement, South 89°26'43" East, 6.00
feet to a point on the East line of said Lot 1; thence along said East line, South
00°33' 17" West, 6.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
The above described easement vacation contains 420 square feet more or less and is
subject to all easements and rights -of -way now on record or existing.
