Ted Shepard 1. The request to not build up the existing concrete
screen wall to six feet in height is denied. This is a
sensitive issue for neighborhood compatibility.
2. All dirt surfaces, including the un-landscaped parking
lot islands, must be treated with an effective erosion
control material to prevent wind and water erosion. Such
treatment shall be sufficient to last at least one year.
Current Planning defers to Stormwater for the
appropriate material or best management practice for
erosion control.
3. The temporary chain link fence and temporary
orange webbing should be removed as it creates an
undesirable appearance for the Moot House. However,
should there be a need to re -fence the site for security,
or other purposes, then a performance bond, escrow or
other financial security shall be held by the City to
ensure re -fencing the property in an attractive manner.
4. All construction debris, concrete and asphalt rubble,
old pipes, discarded light fixtures, etc, shall be totally
Katie Moore Please submit revised utility plans showing new phasing
and standard detail for the type III barricade. Stormwater
approval is needed for erosion control.
6.23.04 - This comment has been addressed.
Katie Moore Please see redlines for minor comments/clarifications
needed.
Basil Hamdan Please clearly delineate on the plans which areas are to
be asphalt and which ones will be left.
Are the planned irrigated and landscaped areas going to
be installed, please clarify on plans. If not these areas
will need to be seeded along with the rest of the site.
Please add a note to the plans requiring that all areas
that are left with bare dirt will be immediately seeded and
mulched.
Note should also specify that seeding and mulch should
be inspected 30 days after installation to ensure that
seed has taken, any remaining bare dirt areas would
have to be re -seeded at that time.
OK Basil Harridan No additional issues.
HLD Jeff Hill The existing sanitary sewer services which served the
old motel must be abandoned now prior to the parking
area construction. Coordinate abandonment with the
city utilities at 221-6700

NOTE THE GARY HAS APPROVED THE DOWNSIZING
OF THE TRASH ENCLOSURE AND RELATED
CHANGES SO THAT THE CONTRACTOR CAN GO
AHEAD AND CONSTRUCT IT AS IT WAS SHARED
WITH THE MOOT HOUSE.
OK Peter Barnes
Approved with conditions per Current Planning. Request
to delete extra row of brick on masonry fence is denied
since that would violate section 3.2.1(E)(4)(b) of the
Land Use Code, which requires a 6' high fence in
combination with landscaping.
CMNT Peter Barnes
Revised utility plans submitted to Ted Shepard on 6-23-
04. Ted gave them to me and I've routed them to Katie
Moore per her previous comment.
