PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of Resolution AD 06-35.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The Owner has presented to the City a deed of dedication of a utility easement within the
boundary of the proposed Drake Crossing Shopping Center development for the purposes of
providing an easement for a water line connection and associated curb stop and meter pit. This
dedication is described in detail on Exhibit "A".

OF THE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY PLANNING
AND ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES
OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION OF A
UTILITY EASEMENT
ON A PORTION OF TRACT B, DRAKE CROSSING SHOPPING CENTER
WHEREAS, Section 2.1.5 of the Land Use Code of the City of Fort Collins authorizes the
Director of Community Planning and Environmental Services to accept dedication of certain
easements by resolution or by approval of replats containing notation of such dedication; and
WHEREAS, the City has recieved a deed of dedication of a utility easement on a portion
of Tract B, Drake Crossing Shopping Center, City of Fort Collins, more particularly described on
Exhibit "A"; and
WHEREAS, the easement dedication has been reviewed and approved by the pertinent
City Departments, which departments report no objections to the dedication.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Director of Community Planning and
Environmental Services of the City of Fort Collins, that the deed of dedication of a utility
easement on a portion of Tract B, Drake Crossing Shopping Center, located at the southest
corner of Taft Hill Road and Valley Forge Avenue, which dedication is more particularly
described on Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference, is hereby
accepted.
Passed and adopted at an administrative hearing held by the Director of Current
Planning as the delegee of the Director of Community Planning and Environmental Services of
the City of Fort Collins this J++ day of December A.D. 2006.
