an annexation map, was filed with the City Clerk of the, City of Fort Collins
requesting (lie annexation of certain territory more particularly described
below to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has found and determined and does hereby
find and determine that said petition is in substantial compliance with the
provisions of Colorado Revised Statutes, 1963, s 137-21-6, as amended, and
WIIIZREAS, the owners of one hundred per cent of the property to be
annexed have petitioned for said annexation, and
WHF.RIi AS, not less than one -sixth of the perimeter of the area to be
anncxod is contiguous with the City of Fort Collins and a community of interest
exists between the territory to be annexed and the City of Fort Collins and the
territory to be annexed is urban or wi.1.1 be urbanized in the near future and
such territory is integrated or is capable of being integrated with the City
of Fort Collins, and
WIIIsREAS, none of the provisions of Colorado Revised Statutes, 1963,
� 139-21-4, as amended, are violated by the annexation of this territory to
the City of Fort Collins, and
WIIKREAS, no election is required under the provision of Colorado
Revised Statutes, 1963, F 139-21-6 (2) and no additional terms and conditions
are to be imposed in connection with this annexation, and
WHF.RF.AS, the territory is eligible for annexation and the City Council
desires to annex the same to the City of Fort Collins.
COLLINS:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
Section I. That all of the territory more particularly described as
situate in the County of Larimer, State of Colorado, to -wit:
A tract of Land situate in the Southwest t;, of Section 1,
Township 7 North, Range 69 West of the 6t" P. M., Larimer
County, Colorado, considering the West line of the South-
west 4 as bearing North and all bearings contained herein
relative thereto: Beginning at a point on the South line
of said Section 1 which bears N. 89°59' E. 862.03 feet from
the Southwest corner of said Section I; thence N. 11°31'13"
K. 175.00 feet; thence S. 11°33'13" E. 175.00 feet to the
South line of said Section 1; thence S. 89°59' W. along
the South line of said Section 1 70.00 feet to the point
of beginning; containing .138 acres, more or less;
be and it hereby is annexed to the City of Fort Collins and made a part of said
City, to be known as the East Vine Drive Annexation to the City of Fort Collins.
Section 2. That in annexing said territory to the City of Fort
Collins, the City of Fort Collins does not assume any obligation respecting the
construction of water mains, sewer lines, gas mains, electric service lines,
streets or any other services or utilities in connection with the territory
hereby annexed except as may be provided by the ordinances of the City of Fort
Collins.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 22nd day of June, A. D. 1967, and to be presented for final
passage on the 13t" day of July, A. D. 1967.
