WHEREIAS, heretofore a written petition, together with four prints of an annexation map,
was filed with the City Clerk of the City of Fort Collins requesting the annexation of
certain territory more particularly described below to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado;
and
WIIf'HFJE S, the City Council has found and determined and does hereby find and determine
that said petition is in substantial compliance with the provisions of Colorado Revised
Statutes, 1963, 9 1.37-21-6, as amended; and
WiMEIAS, the owners of one hundred per cent of the property to be annexed have
petitioned for said annexation; and
WEIEREAS, not less than one -sixth of the perimeter of the area to be annexed is con-
tiguolis with the City of Fort Collins and a community of interest exists between the
territory to be annexed and the City of Fort Collins and the territory to be annexed is
urban or will be urbanized in the near future and such territory is integrated or is capable
of being integrated with the City of Fort Collins; and
WID'HEAS, none of the provisions of Colorado Revised Statutes, 1963, 9 139-21-4, as
amended, are violated by the annexation of this territory to the City of Fort Collins; and
W111MIAS, no election is required under the provision of Colorado Revised Statutes,
1963, P 139-21-6 (2) and no additional terms and conditions are to be imposed in connection
with this annexation; and
WHEREAS, the territory is eligible for annexation and the City Council desires to annex
the same to the City of Fort Collins.
NOW, THEREFORE], BE IT ORDAINIM BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS:
Section 1. That all of the territory more particularly described as situate in the
County of Larimer, State of Colorado, to -wit:
A tract of land situate in the N 1/2 of Section 30, Township 7 North, Range 68 West
of the 6th P. M., which considering the North line of the NW 1/4 of said Section 30
as bearing S. 89047' E. and with all bearings contained herein relative thereto, is
contained within the boundary lines which begin at the North 1/4 corner of said
Section 30 and run thence N_ 89051'30" E. 981.00 feet along the North line of the
Northeast 1/4 of said Section 30; thence S. 20052' E. 283.00 feet; thence S. 16020'
E. 200.00 feet; thence S. 10000' W. 106.00 feet; thence S. 34030' W. 250.00 feet;
thence S. 02040' E. 96.00 feet; Thence S.12050' E. 100.96 feet; thence S. 28020, E.
110.00 feet; thence S. 63033' E. 130.00 feet; thence S. 05058'44" W. 149.02 feet;
thence N. 12019' W. 66.32 feet; thence N. 38026' W. 164..80 feet; thence N. 40015' W.

or less;

be and it hereby is annexed to the City of Fort Collins and made a part of said City, to
be known as the Grecnwa]t Fifth Annexation to the City of Fort Collins.
Section 2. That ir_ annexing said territory to the City of Fort Collins, the City of
Fort Collins does not assume any obligations respecting the construction of water mains,
sewer lfines, gas mains, electric service lines, streets or any other services or utilities
in connection will, the territory hereby annexed except as may be provided by the ordinances
of the City of Fort Collins.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published this 13th
day of March, A. D. 1969 , and to be presented for final passage on the 3rd day of
April, A. D. 1969.
