ORDINANCE NO. 69 , 1972.
[BEING AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO TIT CITY OF PORT COLLIN.S, COL=50
WHEREAS, heretofore a written petition, together with four prints of an nnnexatioa
map was filed with the City Clerk of the City of Fort Collins requesting the ann^xnih i
of certain territory more particularly described below to the City of Fort Collins,
Colorado; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has found and determined and does hereby find and dci,r%.in,
that said petition is in substantial compliancewith the provisions of Colorado 004—
Statutes, 1963, s 137-21-6, as amended; and
WIIEREAS, the owners of one hundred per cent of the property to be annexed have
petitioned for said annexation; and
WHEREAS, not less than one -sixth of the perimeter of the area to be annexed is c.--
tiguous with the City of Fort Collins and a community of interest exists bet"oon ;:,
territory to be annexed and the City of Fort Collins and the territory to he amirxc_'.
urban or will be urbanized in the near future and such territory is integrated ur is
capable of being integrated with the City of Fort Collins; and
WIIEREAS, none of the provisions of Colorado Revised Statutes, 1963, S
amended, are violated by the annexation of this territory to the City of Fort Colli:.c;
WHEREAS, no election is required under the provision of Colorado Revised Statut ,
1963, N 139-21-6 (2), and no additional terms and conditions are to be imposed in wan:_
with this annexation; and
WHEREAS, the territory is eligible for annexation and the City Council desires 10 :n;n_^;
the same to the City of Fort Collins.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED 3Y THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORS' COMM
Section 1. That all of the territory more particularly described as situate in t'r:
County of Larimer, State of Colorado, to -wit:
A portion of the N 1/2 of Section 36, Township 7 North, Range 69 Nest of the
6th P.M., Larimer County, Colorado, which, considering the North line of said
Section 36 as bearing N. 89045130" E, and with all bearings contained herciu
relative thereto, is contained within the boundary lines which begin at the.
north 1/4 corner of said Section 36 and run thence N. 89045'30" F, 198.97 !cc[
along said north line; thence S. 17°35'32" E, 617.67 feet; thence N. 42051,
W, 272.00 feet; thence N. 60056' W, 228.11 feet; thence N. 00016130" W, SS.K
feet; thence N. 80001110" W, 648.73 feet; thence N. 56029130" W, 124.00 Peet;
thence N. 82007120" W, 422.58 feet: to a point on the north lineofsaid SccKcw.
36, which bears N. 8904S'30" E, 173.50 feet from the Northwest corner of the
Northeast 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of said Section 36; thence N. 89045130" E,
1158.79 feet to the point of beginning.

Section 2. That in annexing said territory to the City of Fort Collins, the My oC
Fort Collins does not assume any obligations respecting the construction of water m,i�� ,
sewer lines, gas mains, electric service lines, streets or any other services or unlit...,
in connection with the territory hereby annexed except as may be provided by the �Q; n,wcw,;
of the City of Fort Collins.
