ORDINANCE NO. 39 , 1987
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
ANNEXING APPROXIMATELY 188.469 ACRES OF PROPERTY
KNOWN AS THE WARREN LAKE ANNEXATION
WHEREAS, the property hereinafter described below has been entirely
contained within the boundaries of the City of Fort Collins for more than
three (3) year prior to this date; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has determined that
it is in the best interests of the citizens of the City of Fort Collins tc
annex said area to the City, as required by the terms of the
Intergovernmental Agreement between the City and Larimer County, Colorado,
dated August 3, 1983; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 87-29 setting forth the intent of the City Council
to annex said area has heretofore been adopted; and
WHEREAS, notice of this annexation has been given pursuant to the
annexation laws of the State of Colorado.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS:
Section 1. That the following described property
A tract of land situate in the East 1/2 of Section 31, Township 7
North, Range 68 West, and in Section 36, Township 7 North, Range
69 West of the Sixth P.M., Larimer County, Colorado, and
considering the North line of the Northeast 1/4 of said Section
36 as bearing N 89'45'30" E, and with all bearings contained
herein relative thereto begins at a point which bears N 89°45'30"
E 198.97 feet and again S 17'35'52" E 617.67 feet from the North
1/4 corner of said Section 36, said point being on the boundary
of the Warren Shores First Annexation to the City of Fort

be, and hereby is, annexed to the City of Fort Collins and made a part of
said City, to be known as the Warren Lake Annexation.
Section 2. That in annexing said territory to the City of Fort
Collins, the City of Fort Collins does not assume any obligation respecting
the construction of water mains, sewer lines, gas mains, electric service
lines, streets or any other services or utilities in connection with the
territory hereby annexed except as may be provided by the ordinances of the
City of Fort Collins.
Section 3. That no building permit shall be issued for any of the
lands herein described unless said lands have been zoned under the zoning
ordinances of the City.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 17th day of March, A.D. 1987, and to be presented for final
passage on the 21stday of April, A.D. 1987.
