Re: Dellenbach Chevrolet Parking Lot Expansion (RCE Job Number 93-150)
Dear Kerry:
INC.
As you requested, I have investigated the grading of the parking lot in regards to the construction of the
future sidewalk along McCAelland Drive. Enclosed is a figure showing a typical cross section of the area
from the street to the expansion parking lot. On this drawing I have shown 4 alternative sidewalk locations,
an attached 6-foot wide sidewalk, and detached 4-foot sidewalks located at offsets of 4.5-, 8-, and 9.5-feet
from the back of curb. The slope of the fill will be at a maximum of 3 to 1. As you will notice, each of the
sidewalks can be constructed without regrading the expansion parking lot.
If you need additional information or have questions, please call.
Sincerely,
RESOURCE CONSU & GINEERS, INC.

DEAR KERRY,
ENCLOSED PLEASE FIND ROUGH DRAFT OF THE SITE PLAN FOR THE FUTURE EXPANSION
AND THE NEED FOR THE CURB CUTS.
THE #1 CURB CUT WILL BE USED TO GIVE OUR CUSTOMERS ANOTHER WAY OF ENTRY AND
EXIT TO OUR SITE SO THEY DO NOT HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE FRONTAGE ROAD.
THE #2 AND #3 CURB CUTS WOULD BE FOR A NEW BODY SHOP AND CAR WASH THAT WE
ARE CONSIDERING FOR THE SOUTHWEST SIDE OF THE BUILDING.
THESE PROJECTS COULD BE FROM TWO TO FIVE YEARS AWAY, AND WE DO NOT WANT THE
ADDED EXPENSE OF REMOVING THE CURB CUTS AND THEN PUTTING THEM BACK IN SEVERAL
YEARS LATER.
IF YOU HAVE ANY ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS PLEASE CALL ME.
SINCERELY,
DELLENBACH CHEVROLET-GEO, INC.
