Attached for your review and comments is a vacation request and sketch by the Applicant showing Lot 1 of the
Maple Hill PUD, more specifically located at the northwest comer of Maple Hill Drive and Bar Harbor Drive.
The Applicant is requesting to vacate a S wide by 24' long portion of the existing 9' utility easement along Maple
Hill Drive because they wish to place their underground storage tanks in this area.

Dear Susan:
May 9, 2007
The purpose of this letter is to describe the changes we are requesting for a
portion of the existing utility easement along Maple Hill Drive in the Maple Hill
Subdivision.
We are current working with Mark Foster with Journey Homes on the
construction of the Maple Hill Clubhouse and pool, which is located at the corner
of Bar Harbor and Maple Hill Drives. Mark has asked us to relocate the
temporary storage tanks designed to reduce the potential spike in flow into the
Boxelder Sanitation District system when the pool is drained. The tanks were
located north and east of the clubhouse along Bar Harbor. We are moving them
south of the clubhouse along Maple Hill Drive to reduce the length of sewer pipe
required and minimize the number of crossings with the water service. In order to
allow for enough room between the tanks and the clubhouse for construction and
future maintenance, we would be encroaching into the existing road side public
utility easement by 3 feet, for a length of approximately 24 feet. Per your
direction, Mark will be contacting the potential utility providers to confirm that
there are no concerns with reducing the width of easement.
