Spruce street in the City of Fort Collins has been
for many years abandoned by the public, and has been closed to
public travel because of the construction of railroads, ditches
and buildings on said street; and,
V1r'L;RIWI, College avenue was originally platted v✓ith a width
of 180 feet, and a strip off from the, east side of' saki Co1LeL;e
avenue, opposite Block 4, and ?lock 6 Port Collins, has been long
disused and abandoned and valuable improvements have been erected
thereon; and,
PT,'cn AS, by resolutions of the City Council of :'ort Collins,
passed on,or about the ?let day of Ceptemther, 1903, it was resolvdd
that said "pruce street be abandoned, and that said College
avenue be narrowed, and that a strip off from the east side
thereof, c!.post.te lair, clock 6 and said Block 4 in Fort Collins
bo vacated; and pursuant to said resolution, and in reliance there-
on, large expenditures oP money have been made in improving said
Spruce street and said portion of College avenue.
11017, TREREFORE, for the purpose of confirming the vacation
made by said resolution, and properly qui etirg all questions
concerning the title whichthe persons so improving said vacated
portions of said streets have in arol to the same ---

Fect:ion 2. That College avenue in said City of Port
Collins be and. the same Is he-reby narrowed from the south-

westerly corner of said .'lock C north to the nerthw est corner of
Block 4, in said City of Fort Collins, and to that and that that
part of said College avenue described as follows, viz: Beginning
at the westerly corner of said Block E in Fort Collins; thence
northwesterly to a point, which is the intersection of the, center
line of Spruce street produced, with a line drawn parallel to
the west line of said Block 4, a distance of 40 feet test from
said west line; thence northerly, Para}}el with and 40 feet
distant from the west line of Block 4 in Fort Collins, as ori,�inal-
ly platted and worded, to a point where said line intersects the
north line of the right of way of Thr, Greeley, salt Lake and
Pacific Railroad Company (now The Colorado & Pouthern Railway
Company); thence northeasterly to the northwest corner in said
Elock 4 in For, 'ollins; thence southerly alon-- said west line,
of 'flock 4 to the south corner of t.ot 10 therein; thence in a
direct, line from said south corner cf Lot 10 in said Block 4,
to the place of he;*inning,--be and the same is hereby vacated,
abolished and abandoned.
Section 3. This ordinance .dull take effect and be in force
