BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE VACATION OF
A CERTAIN PORTION OF WILLOW STREET AND A CERTAIN PORTION
OF SPRUCE STREET HERETOFORE VACATED, BUT ABUTTING ON
WILLOW STREET, ALL OF SAID PROPERTY ABUTTING ON LOTS 14
AND 16, IN BLOCK 3, IN THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS.
WHEREAS, The owners of Lots 14 and 16, in
Block 3, in the City of Fort Collins, have petitioned the
City Council to vacate a portion of said Willow Street and
a portion of Spruce Street, heretofore vacated, abutting on
said Willow Street; and
WHEREAS, Said portion of said streets is lo.,
lying and of no benefit to the City of Fort Collins as
streets; therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS:
Section 1. That portion of Willow Street abut-
ting on Lots 14 and 16, in Block 3, in the City of Fort Collins,
and described as follows: Commencing at the southeast corner
of Lot 14, Block 3; thence northwesterly along the southwesterly
boundary of said Block 3, 100 feet to the southwest qtl�Sof
said Block 3; thence southwesterly on the line between Willow
Street and Spruce Street, heretofore vacated, a distance of
66.67 feet; thence 1n a straight line 120.2 feet to the point
of beginning; and that portion of Spruce Street heretofore vaca-
ted, described as follows: Commencing at the southwest corner
of said Block 3; thence northwesterly parallel to the southwest

property line of Block 3 a distance of 50 feet; thence at
right angles a distance of 100 feet along the center line of
Spruce Street, now vacated; thence easterly 60.1 feet to a
point on the extension of the northwest property line of
Block 3; thence in a straight line 66.7 feet to place of be-
ginning, are hereby vacated.
Section 2. In the opinion of the City Council
an emergency exists for the preservation of the public health,
peace and safety, and this ordinance shall take effect upon
its passage and publication, under and by virtue of the autho-
rity contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City
Charter.
Introduced, read at length and adopted by the
unanimous vote of all the members of the City Council this
/4/ day of August, A.D. 1920.

I, A. J. ROSENOW, City Clerk of the City
of Fort Collins, do hereby certify and declare that the
foregoing ordinance, consisting of two (2) sections, was
duly proposed and read at length at a regular meeting of
the City Council held on the // day of August, A.D.1920,
and was duly adopted and ordered published in the Fort
Collins Express, a daily newspaper and the official news-
paper of the City of Fort Collins, by the unanimous vote
of all members of the Council, as an emergency ordinance,
in accordance with the provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of
Article IV of the City Charter; and thereafter, on towit:
the o2o day of August, A.D. 1920, said Ordinance No. -2
was duly published in the Fort Collins Express, a daily
newspaper published in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set
my hand and affixed the seal of said City this A19 day
