RE: Pverland Trail/Quail Hollow P.U.D. - City Standard Variance
Dear Dan-
I am writing with regard to discussions you have had with Ron Ili. lls,
the City's Right of Way Agent, about the right of way needed for
Overland TrailRoI told me that there was a misunderstanding
about the amount of right of way needed. Instead of a 50' half street
that your engineer had reconfigured your lot layout to, the City
needs 60or J. more"
l have reviewed your redesign that causes the Calendar Drive arid
Skimmerhorn Street inLersection to be moved closer than the 150, City
standard required spacing between intersections. Since the streets
we are concerned with are all local streets and the greater good is
for Overland Trail, reducing the spacing is acceptable. This
approval in no way means that this standard will be waived at any
other location. Each variance from City standards will be reviewed
for specific conditions.
Let me know if you have any questions.
