Waite, Civil Engineer II - Storm Drainage Ao RE: Addition to Colorado Import Motors As you know, Colorado Import Motors is located in the floodplain of Dry Creek and the existing structure falls under the "Non -Conforming Use" section of Chapter 52 of the City Code. This section states that if a proposed addition to an existing structure is valued at more than 50% of the existing structure's valuation, then the construction of the addition must conform to the requirements of Chapter 52. Attached please find a copy of a letter sent to Sherry Albertson -Clark from Willard E. Holz, President of Homes by Holz. Mr. Holz has indicated that the proposed addition is valued at approximately 12% of the value of the existing building. Please be advised that the construction of the addition does not have to conform to the requirements of Chapter 52 and as far as the Storm Drainage Division is concerned the building permit can be issued.
