Based on the number of customer parking spaces alone,
not total parking spaces, you should provide 2 handicap
parking spaces, one of which should be van accessible as
defined in the Code. I'm sure you have a number of
elderly customers who will also benefit from these spaces.

elevations shown will be a great improvement and

If the "earthtone" color chosen for both the EIFs and the
stone tile at the south entry feature matches exactly, you
might opt instead for the slate or a more contrasting color
to differentiate the base, the middle and the top.

There are numerous places in the Code, including the
general standard for the Commercial District, in which this
project is zoned, that require emphasizing personal
mobility and pedestrians in particular. You should provide
a walkway from the City walkway to the entry per LUC
3.22 (B), (C)(1)(a), and (C)(5)(b).

I wrote my redlines on the plans and then found out that
this project does not trigger bringing the entire site up to
Code. You are not required to follow the redline
comments.

Minor Amendments must meet the provisions of the Land
Use Code. There have been many changes to our land
use regulations since 1989. Though this construction
project will not trigger bringing the entire site into
compliance with the Code, there are a few changes you
would be wise to consider, including handicap parking and
a walkway.
