NOTES
1. ACCORDING TO COLORADO LAW YOU MUST COMMENCE ANY LEGAL ACTION BASED UPON ANY DEFECT IN THIS SURVEY
WITHIN THREE YEARS OF THE DATE ON WHICH YOU FIRST DISCOVERED SUCH DEFECT. IN NO EVENT MAY ANY ACTION
BASED ON ANY DEFECT OF THIS SURVEY BE COMMENCED MORE THAN TEN YEARS FROM THE DATE OF CERTIFICATION
SHOWN HEREON.
2. THE CLIENT DID NOT WISH TO HAVE RIGHTS —OF —WAY OR EASEMENTS SHOWN HEREON.
3. THE LINEAR UNIT USED IN THIS SURVEY IS THE U.S. SURVEY FOOT.
4. THE MONUMENTS SHOWN WERE USED AS CONTROL IN THE PREPARATION OF EASEMENT DESCRIPTIONS WITHIN THE
SOUTH HALF OF SECTION 26, THEREBY REQUIRING THE PREPARATION OF THIS PLAT PER C.R.S. 38-51-107.
5. A THOROUGH SEARCH WAS MADE FOR GLO MONUMENTS FOR ALL OF SECTION 26 AND FURTHER AFIELD, USING THE
BLM FIELD NOTES AND PLATS, AND USING INFORMATION PROVIDED BY AMERICA WEST SURVEYING (WHO HAD DONE A
SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF SURVEYING IN THIS AREA) TO CALCULATE SEARCH POSITIONS FOR THE ALIQUOT CORNERS. THE
LOCATION OF FENCE CORNERS CORRELATE REASONABLY WELL WITH THESE CALCULATED POSITIONS, IN MY OPINION THE
FENCE CORNERS REPRESENT THE BEST AVAILABLE EVIDENCE FOR DETERMINING THE SECTION CORNER AND QUARTER
CORNER LOCATIONS.
6. NOTHING WAS FOUND OR SET AT THE SOUTH QUARTER CORNER OF SECTION 26.
