1. THE BRIDGE SHALL BE3D0' LONG, HAVE BICYCLE SAFE RAILS AND A�0-
WIDTH (CLEAR BETWEEN THE RAILS). THE COMPLETED ABUTMENTS SHALL BE
MEASURED TO VERIFY LENGTH AND DECK THICKNESS PRIOR TO THE BRIDGE
FABRICATION. THE D0DC[ SHALL BE PRE-ENGINEERED AND MEET THE
PROJECT SPECIFICATION.
2. EROSION CONTROL SHALL INCLUDE SILT FENCE ON THE SOUTH 50[ OF THE
CONSTRUCTION (BETWEEN THE WALK AND CEMETERY) AND ALONG THE DITCH
BANKS.
3. THE IRRIGATION DITCH SHALL BE KEPT FREE OF DEBRIS IN THE
CON5TRUCT10N AREA.
4. ALL DISTURBED AREAS SHALL HAVE 4° OF TOPSOIL REPLACED AND BE
SEEDED PER CITY STANDARDS. EROSION CONTROL SHALL REMAIN UNTIL SEED
IS ESTABLISHED.
5. IF THE DITCH BANKS ARE DISTURBED DURING ABUTMENT CONSTRUCTION,
THEY SHALL BE RECONSTRUCTED TO A CONDITION BETTER THAN EX|5llNC
CONDITION. THE SIDE SLOPES OF THE DITCH SHALL BE REPLACED 00TM A
MINIMUM OF 12" OF CLAY TO PREVENT SEEPAGE FROM THE DITCH.
8. ASPHALT CUTTING, REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT SHALL MEET CITY
STANDARDS.
7. HAND RAILS SHALL BE EMBEDDED IN THE SIDEWALK. THIS WORK TO BE
COMPLETED BY OTHERS.

9. CONTRACTOR SHALL CONTACT THE CEMETERY MANAGER AFTER THE

GRAVES.

with the Local Entity Street Repair Standards. The fininhedpatch ohn||blend
in smoothly into the existing surface. All large patches shall be paved with an
asphalt lay -down machine. |nstreets where more than one cut inmade, on
overlay o{the entire street width, including the patched area, may he
required. The determination of need for a complete overlay shall be made by
the Local Entity Engineer and/or the Local Entity Inspector vtthe time the
cuts are made.
8. Upon completion of construction, the site shall be cleaned and restored to
c condition equal to, or better than, that which existed before construction,
ortnthe grades and condition onrequired bythese plans.
9. At all times during construction, the Contractor shall be responsible for
preventing and controlling on -site erosion due to wind and runoff, as well as
vehicle tracking.
