Brix Q Fort Collins, CO 80522 Dear 11r. Frick: Concerning your request for a detention requirement variance as stated in your drainage report for GSM West Mountain P.U.D. dated My 1981, I have the following comments. In reviewing your runoff calculations, it can be seen that any additional runoff produced by the future parking lot will indeed be minimal and should pose no problem to the inlets at LaPorte and Meldrum. Also a letter has been received by this office indicating that Edwards House Partnership will accept this runoff flowing east through their parking lot to Meldrmun. A variance in the detention requirement for GSM West Mountain P.U.D. is hereby granted provided that the following condition is met: Any developed runoff produced by the north half of the site shall not be allowed to flow onto the existing property to the north of the site. Or shall any runoff that is collected within the proposed parking area be allowed to flow into the existing alley to the west of the site. If you have any questions, please call. Sincerely, Robert W. Smith Assistant City Engineer - Drainage cc: Josh Richardson
