ORDINANCE NO. 26 , 1965,
BEING AN ORDINANCE VACATING Al, ALLEY IN BLOCK 1,
SITZPIAN'S ADDITION TO THE. CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO
WIIEREAS, the City Council has been petitioned to vacate an alley
in Block 1, Sitzman's Addition to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, as
more particularly described below, and
WHEREAS, said alley as now platted is not needed for municipal
purposes, and said alley has never been open to the public, and
WUEREhS, it appears that the rights of the residents of the City
of Fort Collins will in no way be prejudiced or injured by the vacation of
said alley.
14014, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the following described alley in Block 1, Sitzman's Addition
to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, more particularly described as follows,
to -wit:
Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 3, Block 1,
Sitzman's Addition to the City of Fort Collins; thence
North 16 feet to the southwest corner of Lot 1, in
said Block; thence East 141.8 feet, more or less, along
the south lines of Lots 1 and 2, to the southeast corner
of Lot 2, in said Block; thence South 16 feet to the
northeast corner of Lot 5 in said Block; thence West
along the north lines of Lots 5, 4 and 3, in said
Block, 141.8 feet more or less to point of beginning;
be and the same hereby is abolished, vacated and abated.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading and ordered
published this bt" day of May, A. D. 1965, and to be presented for final
passage on the 27th day of May, A. D. 1965.
