Currently the final approval is extended to September 29, 1984. We are in the process of phasing the project, with plans to begin constructicn on the first phase in early Fall of 1994. Collins, Co. 80526 Dear Sir: In reference to the relocation of the Mountain Bell pedestal for construction of sidewalks along West Swallow Rd. in Ft. Collins. Mountain Bell will require relocation costs for pedestal and cable be paid and relocation work completed prior to the release of tele— phone service to the Watkins Apartments at 1201,1213 & 1231 W. Swallow Rd. As you may know the service for the above units must come from the pedestal in question and relocation is necessary before additional splicing work can be completed. Larson 201 Link Lane Fort Collins, Colorado 80524 Re: Public Right -of -Way License No. 142 Dear Mr. Larson: The intent of this letter is to inform you that a portion of public sidewalk installed by your firm adJacent to 1201 W. Swallow Road is not in compliance with City of Fort Collins Construction Standards and must be removed. On December 4., 1985, I observed Rustco employees placing concrete upon frozen subgrade. As I'm sure you are aware City Construction Standards Section 4:04.04 "Cold Weather Concreting" prohibits the placement of concrete upon frozen subgrade. As a concrete contractor licensed to perform work within the City of Fort Collins, it is your responsibility to abide by the rules and regulations as set forth by the City. Any continued disregard for City specifications could result in the suspension of your license and possible action upon Rustco's right-of-way contractor's bond. Hopefully, this type of action will not be necessary and this particular occurence was of an isolated nature and no further action will be necessary to insure Rustco the opportunity to work within the right-of-way. Once again, the sidewalk sections placed on December 4, 1985, are not acceptable to the City and must be replaced.
