PLANNING OBJECTIVES FOR GLENMOOR P.U.D.
Glenmoor P.U.D. is a proposed twenty -unit townhome project that meets
several City of Fort Collins objectives. It is an infill project that will
develop a vacant. property. Glenmoor P.U.D. buffers the existing single-family
housing along Orchard Place, with townhomes which are owned individually,
from the existing rental apartments along Plum Street. Its density of 6.6
units per acre is only slightly higher than some single-family developments.
The units all fit the solar orientation adopted by the City of Fort
Collins although it is not a requirement for this type of project.
The P.U.D. has good public services nearby. Cedarwood Plaza offers
a neighborhood shopping center with 1000 feet. Moore School is adjacent
to the property. Avery Park, Rogers Park and City Park are all within walking
distance.
Transfort has a bus stop on West Elizabeth which is approximately 1000
feet from the project. Elizabeth Street has bike lanes.
