NOTES
1. N plant materiel shag meet specifications of the AnTedcan Association of Nurseryman
(AAN) for numberane grade. All trees shall be bared and budapped or equivalent.
2. Trees shag not be planted closer than 4 feet to any gas or electric line and no closer than
10 feet to any water or sewer One. Shrubs shag not be planted closer than fourfeet to any
water or Server line. Tree planting shag be coordinated with Public Service Company.
Locations of all utggles shall be verified in the field prior to planting. A hof¢ontal
distance of 40' between streettrees and street lights shall be maintained.
3. A free permit must be obbitned from the City Forester before trees or shrubs N noted on this plan are
planted, pruned or removed in the public right-of-wsy. This includes all areas between the ddewarc and
curb and street bedions. This permit shag approve the location and species 90 be planted. Failure to
obtain this permit may result in replacing or relocating Imes and a hold on cerdflcate of occupancy.
4. Landscaping shag be Installed or secured with a letter of credit earrI or performance bond for 125%
of the value of the landscaping and installation prior to the Issuance of a Certigrate of Occupancy.
5. Developer shag areurs that tho landscape plan is coordinated with the plans done by other
consultants so that the proposed grading, storm drainage, or other construction does not
confkt nor preclude tnslagaroo and maintenance of landscape elements on this plan.
6. N landscape areas within the ere shag be irrigated with an automatic underground

10. Soil Amendments. Prior to Installation of plant materials, area that have been compacted or disturbed
by construction activity shall be thoroughly loosened. Organic amendments such as co poK peat, or
aged manure shag be thorraI incorporated at a rate of at least three (3) cubic yards of amendment
per 1,000 Square feet of landscape area.
11. The developer shag contact the City Forester to Inspect all street bee planting at compledon. N seas
need to have been installed as shown on the landscape plan. Approval of street bee planting Is required
before final approval. Failure to obtain sppmval by the City Forester for street tree planting shall result in
a hold on certificate of occuparcy.
12. The existing water tap on the adjacent Houska Automotive site will be used to Irrigate the proposed
landscaping on this site.
