ORDINANCE NO. 52, 1968,
BEING AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF A STREET DEDICATED TO THE PUBLIC IN PLAT
OF THE SPRING VALLEY SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, the City Council has been petitioned to vacate a portion of a street
dedicated to the public in the Plat of Spring Valley Subdivision located in the NWk of
Section 23, Township 7 North, Range 69 West of the 6th P. M.; and
WHEREAS, said portion of said street has never been opened to the public and is not
needed for municipal purposes and parcel of land more suitable to the needs of the public
has been dedicated to public use for street and utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the rights of the residents of the City of Fort Collins
will in no way be prejudiced or injured by the vacation of said portion of said street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that the
following portion of the aforesaid street in the City of Fort Collins, to -wit:
A tract of land situate in the NW} of Section 23, Tocuship 7 North, Range 69 West
of the 6th P. M., County of Larimer, State of Colorado, which considering the
North line of said NWk as bearing due East and West and with all bearings con-
tained herein relative thereto is contained within the boundary lines which
commence at the Southeast corner of Lot 6 of the Arthur C. Sheely First Sub-
division, and run thence West 130.69 feet along the South line of said Lot 6;
thence South 50.00 feet to the true point of beginning; thence South 66.66
feet to the Northwest corner of Lot 22 of Spring Valley Subdivision; thence
along the Northerly line of said Lot 22, North 47*371 East 46.95 feet; thence
along the arc of a 75.00 foot radius curve to the right to a point resultant
from a long chord bearing North 61°43' East 36.54 feet; thence North 75*49,
East 78.36 feet to the Northeast corner of said Lot 22; thence leaving the
Northerly line of said Lot 22, South 89°23151" West 142.84 feet to the point of
beginning;
be and the same hereby is abolished, vacated and abated.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading and ordered published this 14th day
of November, A. D. 1968, and to be presented for final passage on the 5th day of December,
A. D. 1968.
