ahich resolution was thereafter duly certified to the County Clerk and
Recorder of Larimer County, and recorded in Book �e-/7 , Page 8C9 ,
wherein and whereby the owners of lots abutting on the north side of
sail Laporte Avenue between the west line of :.Mason Street and the west
side of Washington Avenue have assumed and acted upon said resolution
of the City Coumil as vesting in said owners the portion of said street
attempted to be vacated by said resolution, and
Whereas, for the purpose of quieting title to said portion of
the street so attempted to be vacated, and establishing the rights of
property owners owning lots abutting on said Laporte Avenue between the
west line of Mason Street and the :vast side of Washington Street, the
City Council hereby determines that the same should be effectuated by an
ordinance duly pas-.sd and adopted as required by law, therefore
BE IT ORD'INED BY TIE CITY COMMIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS:
Section 1. That all of that portion of Laporte Avenue lying
North of a. line one hundred (100) feet north of the south side of said
street between the west line of Mason Street and the West side of
Washington. Avenue be and the same is hereby vacated; said vacation to
be effective as of data :March 16, 1903.

I, A. J. ROSENOW, City Clark of the City of Fort
Collins, do hereby certify and declare that the foregoing ordinance,
consisting of one (1) se ction was duly proposed and read at length at a
regular meeting of the City Council held on the first day of Marhh,
A. D. 1924, and was duly ordered by aye and nay vote to be published once
in full in the Fort Collins Express -Courier, a daily newspaper of the City
of Fort Collins, in accordance with the provisions of Sections 7 Article
IY of the City Charter; that thereafter and on, to -wit: the .^5 day of
.larch, A. D. 1924, at a regular malting of the City Council, the said
ordinance came before said Council uponits final passage, a period of
more than tan days having elapsed since its publication as above set
forth, and. that said ordinance was upon second reang adopted as an
ordinance, and thereafter and on tow-tt; the - 8 day of March, A. D.
1924, said. Ordinance No. 9 as finally csssad and adopted was duly
published in The Fort Collins Express -Courier, a daily newspaper
published in the said City of Fort Collins, Colorado.
