Dear Jim:
City staff has reviewed your submittal for the Fort Collins Housing Authority PUD
Expansion - Final and offers the following comments:
1 The site plan does not indicate that the Housing Authority is providing a
bike rack. You are encouraged to provide a bike rack and indicate it's
location on the site plan and landscape plan.
2. Please see the attached comments from the Building Inspection
Department.
3 With the addition, the building exceeds 5,000 square feet. This requires
that an automatic fire suppression system must be installed.
4 Any relocation of Public Service facilities will be at the customer's
expense.
5. Prior to Development Agreement approval, a $300.00 payment will be
required to sponsor three tree plantings off site. This is for mitigation of
the removal of City trees since the City Parks and Recreation Department
owns the property and leases it to the Housing Authority.
6. The two new trees to be planted off the south side of the addition are to
be Burr Oak, rather than Green Ash, with 2" caliper.
7. Please show existing water mains and sanitary sewers adjacent to the site
on the site plan
8. The requested variance to the storm drainage requirements will be
reviewed during the final review of the utility plans.
