Sheri Wamhoff It appears that patio and the cover extend into the existing utility easement. The patio is allowed within the easement area provided the applimnt/owner is aware and realizes that if a utility needs access to this area they can dig it up at any time and that the utilities are not responsible for replacing the patio area or any wails/ fences removed to access or utilize the easement. The patio cover/ awning is not allowed within the easement area. An easement vacation could be applied for. This process will take about a month and there is no guarantee that it will be approved.
