Dear Bill:
In reviewing the soils report for this development, we find that
the report states that if basements are to be constructed on this
site where the ground water depth is less than 8 feet deep that a
subdrain should be installed. Since your utility plans do not show
any design for a subdrain system in public rights of way, no system
can be installed.
If you find that you need a subdrain system, it will have to be
designed and your utility plans revised to include it. The City
has interim design standards that must be used for any subdrain
system. Let me know if your understanding is different.
