Mr. Thomas M. Dougherty
Scavo-Dougherty Builders, Inc.
220 E. Mulberry Street
Ft. Collins, CO 80524
Dear Mr. Dougherty:
Regarding your request for a variance in the detention requirements
for 813 Remington Street, I have the following comments.
As you indicated the relatively small size of the project will not
produce enough runoff to create any problem within the alley along
the west side of the site. It was noticed during a site inspection
that the condition of the alley has seriously deteriorated due to
the heavy track traffic along with water seepage into the subgrade.
It is highly recommended that you consider improvements to the alley
pavement adjacent to the property in question.
Your request for a variance in the detention requirements for 813 Remington
Street is hereby granted provided the following conditions be met.
Final site grading _shall be done in such a manner so as not to
create any point discharges that may cause undesirable erosion. C,l
Sincerely,
Robert W. Smith
Assistant City Engineer - Storm Drainage
