Updates from taskforce members:  Fort Collins Police Services receives regular reports about camping, disturbances, and other criminal activity in the Library Park Neighborhood. Officers respond and address the problems through verbal warnings, citations, and arrests. The responding officers frequently find evidence of drug use and suspects with arrest warrants. Officers provide extra patrolling in this area every day to reduce disruptive behaviors and criminal activity.  Code Compliance has not issued citations in the neighborhood for rubbish or other violations recently.  Social Sustainability has no updates to report.  Outreach Fort Collins (OFC) reports that engagement in Library Park Neighborhood has seen a decrease since the opening of the shelter located at 1301 Blue Spruce Drive. The attached flyer is currently being distributed with updated shelter information. Disruptive behaviors remain minimal. There have been varying degrees of belongings and signs of camping (tarps, wiring, etc.) in the neighborhood. OFC has not received a call for service or had to engage Police Services in the area since the last update memo. Please Note: The next scheduled memo will be in the January 21st Council packet. If circumstances change an additional memo may be provided. Nightly access begins at 5:30pm. Dinner served at 5:30 in shifts. Breakfast served in the morning and bagged lunch provided to guests at breakfast. The property is closed 7:00am-5:30pm. Entry time for emergency overflow families 4pm. Women’s emergency overflow line up in outdoor heated tent starting at 5:00pm with entry and dinner starting at 7pm. El acceso nocturno comienza a las 5:30pm. La cena se sirve por turnos a las 5:30. El desayuno se sirve por la mañana y el almuerzo en bolsa se entrega a los huéspedes al desayuno.
