Dear Kevin,
Congratulations on winning the Association of Metropolitan Water Agencies’ 2015 Gold
Award for Exceptional Utility Performance. The strong record of effective utility
management shown in your agency's entry was determined by our distinguished panel
of peer judges to be a significant contribution to the drinking water industry.
We look forward to presenting the Gold Awards on Monday, October 12 at AMWA's
Annual Meeting at Hilton Savannah DeSoto in Savannah, Georgia. I hope you will be
able to attend to receive this well-deserved recognition in person on behalf of your
agency.

Announcement of the Gold Award winners is embargoed until October 12, although you

AMWA plans to recognize Gold Award winners with publicity in media that reaches
water industry and municipal officials. We will also be providing all winners with a news
release to share with your local press. You may want to create a more detailed press
packet to share with them as well. Again, however, the announcement of winners is
embargoed until October 12.
This award is recognition by your colleagues that your agency has made remarkable
efforts to compete in a highly challenging and constantly changing environment. Once
again, congratulations on this high achievement.
