Please see the information below provided by Laurie Kadrich, CDNS Director, in response to your inquiry
regarding Agenda Item # 20:

We do currently have a process in place. It is as follows:
• Support staff is notified when a project has been recorded.
• Staff reviews the project documents in EDocs.
• Staff researches the date the document was signed by the Planning Director. This date is used for
publication. When a plat is not located staff uses the information on a site plan and uses the date of the
Planning Director’s signature.
• Administrative support staff send a Notice of Approval to the Coloradoan within 14 days.
These processes were not in place in 2008. Also the Planning Services Manager is providing training to
planning staff and support personnel regarding the importance of this notice.
